When you think of K-Swiss, you involuntarily think of Switzerland, even though it is an American company from California. But the name does have something to do with Switzerland - the company was founded in 1966 by the two Swiss brothers Art and Ernie Brunner, who fulfilled their dream of their own shoe factory and chose the globally known brand name in reference to their old homeland. Both in tennis shoes and in the lifestyle sector, several of the timeless classic models now enjoy almost cult status, younger target groups are addressed with trendy, colorful and yet highly functional models.
