Technolgie:
TGS 62/75°

Torsion Guide System - The area between heel and ball (62% of the sole) offers particularly high stability, giving the runner a secure feeling in the shoe. The area is delimited by the so-called ballet line at an angle of 75°. From here, the shoe has increased flexibility for quick movements on the forefoot and training of the natural musculature. TGS actively prevents strains from changes of direction.
Heelcup

The Heelcup from Salming is anatomically shaped and intentionally designed longer to avoid slipping movements.
Torsion Efficiency Unit
A specially curved torsion unit is embedded in the shoe and supports as well as protects the athlete during fast changes of direction. Furthermore, it promotes the
energy transfer while running and ensures optimal
efficiency. The Distance Model offers a semi-transparent
TPU, while Race relies on ultra-lightweight carbon.
Toe Box

The new Salming Elements has a larger toe box compared to the Salming Trail. It provides more space especially when stepping and supports the biomechanics of the foot.
Drop 4mm

In order to enable a natural running feeling and a healthy running technique despite increased cushioning, we work with a reduced drop of only 4 mm in the Miles and Elements.
