A customer wrote on 17.03.2022 Ich wollte meine alten, abgetragenen Salming Viper 3 durch ein neues Paar Squash-Schuhe ersetzen. Zuerst probierte ich die Kobra 3 und Asics Gel Blade 8 aus. Mit beiden kam ich nicht zurecht, also gab ich dem Viper 5 eine Chance. Und siehe da: perfekt. Der Schuh fühlt sich leicht und "schnell" an, bietet aber gleichzeitig ausreichend Stabilität; ein Punkt, der mir sehr wichtig ist. Dazu kommt ein exzellenter Grip und ein hoher Tragekomfort ohne Druckstellen o.ä. Die Dämpfung fühlt sich gut und "flach" an. Dadurch hat man den Eindruck, dass man schnell manövrieren kann und guten Bodenkontakt hat. Bei manchen sehr harten Stops hatte ich jedoch den Eindruck die Dämpfung "durchzutreten" und den Courtboden zu spüren. Im Vergleich zum Viper 3 kommt mir die Dämpfung etwas weicher und flacher vor, was den Vorteil von mehr Agilität aber den Nachteil von etwas "wabbeligerem" Gefühl bei harten Richtungsänderungen erzeugt. Dennoch finde ich den Umstieg auf den Viper 5 mehr als super. Der erhöhte Tragekomfort, das Gefühl von mehr Agilität bei gleichzeitiger Stabilität, super Grip und auch irgendwie der Look (lime/dunkelblau) haben mich überzeugt. Conclusion:
Agilität, Stabilität und Grip - ein (fast) optimaler Squash-Schuh für "schnelle" Spieler*innen
