the Puez Knit Mid Powertex has been designed to offer a smooth roll-off and long-lasting comfort for short and extended mountain hikes on uneven paths and varied terrain
the mid-height upper of the boot is made from abrasion-resistant knitted nylon and ripstop polyester
it is reinforced with a rubber toe cap and an all-round abrasion protection with a PFC-free, waterproof and breathable Powertex® membrane
the special trekking last, the double midsole with softer heel cushioning, and the recycled, adjustable CFF footbed with volume reducer provide more comfort and a customised fit
the Puez Knit Mid Powertex is equipped with a Pomoca™ Alpine Trekker outsole that offers grip and traction in technically demanding terrain
the centrepiece of the construction is the new Salewa Edging Plate II integrated into the insole, a special thermoplastic frame that extends the entire length of the shoe
it offers a combination of improved bending and rebound performance for long-lasting wearing comfort and a graduated stiffness and flexibility at the forefoot and heel for targeted stiffness and more stability
additionally, the proven Salewa 3F system with Kevlar® laces provides supportive ankle hold and maximum stability in the midfoot area
