This is where the Pedroc 2 TirolWool® Responsive Hybrid Jacket comes into play: it is lightweight, warm, breathable, and specially designed for high-intensity activities in cold temperatures.
The TirolWool® Responsive insulation is used, which is produced according to our proprietary TirolWool® Hybrid Technology and offers an ideal combination of insulation and breathability.
TirolWool® Responsive combines the natural benefits of wool with modern thermoregulating technology.
The wool with a high lanolin content (wool wax) is obtained from Tyrolean mountain sheep and is highly functional: wool can also provide warmth when wet, regulate body temperature, and prevent unpleasant odors.
Responsive is a patented blend of thermoreactive minerals, which are powdered and melted into a resin that is then incorporated into the core of recycled polyester fibers.
As a result, the fabric has the unique ability to convert the body's radiant heat into infrared light, store it, and gradually release it back to the body.
On the one hand, this stimulates circulation and blood flow, which in turn promotes regeneration, and on the other hand, it can help maintain insulation performance for longer.
Processed in a lightweight, wind-resistant nylon outer material, which is also equipped with a water-repellent DWR treatment (Durable Water Repellent), the 50-gram lightweight TirolWool® Responsive insulation is used on the arms and chest.
