developed in collaboration with leading athletes and mountain guide associations in the Alps, it offers professional insulation and functionality as a warm, protective mid or outer layer
it has a windproof and water-repellent nylon ripstop outer material on the upper body
we use 2L Powertex on the shoulders and hem for increased waterproofing and durability
inside, TirolWool® Responsive, our proprietary TirolWool® Hybrid Technology insulation filling, provides the right mix of insulation performance and breathability
we use a 100g filling
TirolWool® Responsive combines the natural benefits of wool from Tyrolean mountain sheep with a high lanolin content with the advanced heat regulation of Responsive technology
the wool keeps you warm even when wet, supports body temperature regulation, and inhibits odor formation
Responsive is a patented blend of thermoreactive minerals that are pulverized and melted into a resin, which is then incorporated into the core of recycled polyester fibers
it has the unique ability to convert the body's radiant heat into infrared light, store it, and gradually release it back to the body
this stimulates circulation and blood flow, while maintaining long-lasting insulation and accelerating recovery

adjustable Velcro closures at the sleeve ends prevent wind and snow from entering and fit over winter gloves, while the adjustable hem with internal regulation traps heat
