Product technologies
EVA WEDGE
Exceptionally light midsole material made of molded EVA (EthyleneVinylAcetate), which is very good at cushioning and pleasantly soft.
FROG TECHNOLOGY
The hexagon studs of the Frog Technology sole, developed in collaboration with vibram, create the highest grip on all surfaces. Mammut has learned from nature and integrated the hexagonal surface structure of frog feet into the new sole.
NUBUK LEATHER
Noble and sturdy full-grain leather with fine sanding, creating the characteristic velvet look. Nubuk can be waxed, brushed or left untreated depending on the desired appearance.
ROLLING CONCEPT
The patented Mammut sole concept, which supports the natural rolling behavior through adapted support respectively cushioning and thus reduces fatigue (risk of twisting).
SOFT SHELL
The Soft Shell textile used on the Mammut shoes is shoe-specifically robust, abrasion-resistant and water-repellent, without losing the good Soft Shell properties (high breathability, windproofness, water repellency, stretchability).
VELOURS LEATHER
The velour leather obtained by splitting from the inside of the skin is also called split leather. This is very abrasion-resistant and breathable due to its rough surface structure. Velour leather can be waxed or brushed depending on the desired appearance or left untreated.
