THORNY DEVIL TECHNOLOGY

Sweat is energy - especially when it evaporates where it has maximum cooling effect. The patented Thorny Devil Technology collects and conducts moisture via sweat collectors and sweat transporters to sweat distributors - exactly where athletes benefit maximally from evaporative cooling. Perfect conditions for your peak performance.
1. Sweat Collector: Sweat Collectors are placed where the body has the greatest sweat accumulation. Here, moisture is absorbed like a sponge and moved through the gradually thickened structures of the HydroPort yarn to the sweat transporters. Through this network of transport yarns, sweat reaches the sweat distributor zones.
2. Sweat Transporter: Like a network of microchannels, the moisture-conducting HydroPort yarn surrounds the body. Sweat is continuously directed to the sweat distributors on the thighs at the abdomen and back. Sweat transporters ensure that sweat reaches the point of evaporation where it can have the greatest cooling effect for overheating muscles.
3. Sweat Distributor: The design of the sweat distributors follows the anatomy of the muscle. Their construction combines X-BIONIC® partial compression® and knit-in ribs that effectively cool the muscle. In the sweat distributor, the sweat brought by the sweat transporters is collected over a large area and made available for the cooling mechanism. If heat is generated, its evaporation immediately counteracts it. The sweat distributors achieve additional cooling of heat-intensive muscle areas.
THE TRICK®

With The Trick®, the X-BIONIC® developers have found a new, superior way to thermoregulate. An insulation zone along the spine simulates overheating of the body, prompting the brain to trigger sweat production earlier.
1. Spine Insulation Zone: The special fabric structure placed along the spine simulates warming of the entire body. It creates a local heat zone where the body temperature rises significantly more than the rest of the body.
2. Sensors: Sensors along the spine: They are located within the heat zone and detect the strong warming. The sensors transmit their observation to the brain via the spinal cord.
3. Signal: The brain interprets the signal as a sign of overheating of the entire body. It triggers sweat production, even though the body is actually still close to the optimal temperature range for performance.
4. Earlier Cooling Entry: Even before the body overheats, it is effectively and quickly cooled down by sweat. The organism is relieved.
2-STEP 3D-BIONICSPHERE® SYSTEM

High-tech knitting technology ensures optimal support and climate comfort. The different ribs and surface constructions provide support, transport both moisture and heat.
X-BIONIC® PARTIAL COMPRESSION

A new standard in compression technology. The Partial Compression by X-BIONIC® utilizes the benefits of compression without neglecting cooling.
1. Pressure via ribs: Pressure is only exerted on the body via 1mm thick ribs. Pressure-free zones are created to the right and left of them.
2. Effect on veins and capillaries: Veins and capillaries under the skin can be negatively affected by compression. Not so with X-BIONIC®.
3. Capillaries remain open: Veins and capillaries are not compressed in the compression-free zones.
4. Cooling sweat: In addition, a thin layer of sweat can remain on the skin to cool the body. During rest periods, moisture is transported outwards.
COHESION WRAP TECHNOLOGY

Straight athletes are affected when there is overacidification in the cells due to physical activity. The novel X-BIONIC® Cohesion Wrap Technology actively counteracts this effect. It applies targeted pressure to those zones on the hips, thighs, buttocks, and upper arms where the connective tissue is weaker due to its structure and therefore tends to form dimples and cellulite. This way, fewer acids and toxins can penetrate the tissue.
