INTERNAL MIDSOLE SYSTEM
The Internal Midsole System (IMS) is an exclusive technology applied in the construction of the AKU insole. The traditional support structure made of nylon is combined with a layer of microporous material, which is attached to the inside of the upper shoe. This system, in which the sole perfectly adapts to the anatomy of the foot, ensures even pressure distribution, prevents lateral and forward sliding under heavy stress, provides shock absorption, and maximum wearing comfort.

IMS 3
In the version IMS3, the Internal Midsole System is coupled with an Exoskeleton construction and a second internal element made of molded EVA. The outer structure made of lightweight Polyurethane, a resistant, stable, and durable material, provides protection and support at key points, thus ensuring additional safety with every step. The layer of molded EVA, a softer material, also provides cushioning and damping, for a particularly comfortable walking feeling.

PERFORMANCE FIT
Narrow, enveloping lasts for professional footwear in the Mountain segment, favoring precision and sensitivity for use in rock climbing and on ice.

Soles Vibram® are developed with regard to sole profile and composition of the rubber compound according to the requirements for the special field of application of the shoes.

Anonymous wrote on 12.09.2019 Der Schuh ist sehr stabil und an sich super. Jedoch ist der Fersenbereich schlecht ausgepolstert und sehr hart. Aufgrund dessen verursacht der Schuh starke Blasen. Auch andere Käufer bestätigen dies (siehe Bewertungen bei Bergfreunde.de) Conclusion:
Schlecht ausgepolstert - Verursacht starke Blasen.
