3 Layer Construction
From mile to mile, the shell construction
provides comfort and durability.
For runs in more demanding terrain, we recommend
the 3-layer models. A first mesh layer
provides wearing comfort, while the middle layer protects and stabilizes the foot. The outer shell makes the shoe
durable and provides visual accents.
TGS 62/75°
Torsion Guide System - The area between heel and ball (62% of the sole) offers particularly high stability, giving the runner a secure feeling in the shoe. The area is delimited by the so-called ballet line at an angle of 75°. From here, the shoe has increased flexibility for quick movements on the forefoot and training of the natural musculature. TGS actively prevents strains from changes of direction.
Toe Box
The new Salming Elements has a larger toe box compared to the Salming Trail. It provides more space especially when stepping and supports the biomechanics of the foot.
Recoil Midsole
In the midsole of the Miles, Salming works with the new
RECOIL compound. A plastic mixture that absorbs negative
impact forces and converts them into a rebound energy effect.
Vibram Grip
Vibram is world leader in the production of sophisticated outdoor soles. Our extremely non-slip Vibram Grips offer perfect grip on any terrain, whether smooth, dusty or wet.
Drop 6mm
A drop of 6 mm represents an ideal compromise to introduce every runner, no matter what running technique, to neutral, flat shoes. Used in our new Speed and EnRoute models.
